Dorfuss Bubblebutt
Three endearing orphans with the world at their fingertips; one witchcraft-practicing spinster aunt with a strong dislike for her legal charges; and a feline hero with a penchant for mischief. These are the elements that can be found inside the pages of the wildly humorous, inventive, and lighthearted childrens fiction Dorfuss Bubblebutt, by Cynthia Jean Mueller.
The three Walters children-Jonathan, James, and Jenna-have been orphaned as a result of a freak accident, and their spiteful aunt Hilda, a grouchy woman with a yen for witchcraft, becomes their legal guardian. She pursues them with her attempts at evil spells while a different guardian, dubbed Dorfuss Bubblebutt by the children, does his best to protect them from their aunt’s witchly wiles.
Join these zany characters on a thrilling, sometimes funny, oftentimes scary adventure. Readers will find themselves in a page-turning tale reminiscent of the best elements of J.K. Rowling and Lemony Snicket, combined with the author’s own unique talent and style to form one magically entertaining fable. Anyone who loves children, animals, and silliness is sure to enjoy Dorfuss Bubblebutt in all of its engagingly puerile charm.

Companion
A poem by Cynthia Jean Mueller
Soft, warm fur, purr.
Silly antics, languorous naps,
Wild adventures.
Nine lives, glowing green eyes,
Fantasize.
Make my heart grow twice its size.
Mysterious and magical,
Comical.
One never knows the end of it all!
Cuddle up with me,
My solitary, warm comfort be.
Let’s dream of far-off places,
And unknown faces.
Dear snuggly companion,
Know that until the end of time,
You’ve left cat hair
Everywhere,
Even in the far-reaching recesses
Of my very soul and mind.
Promise Me
A poem by Cynthia Jean Mueller
We will meet again, you and I,
Somewhere, somehow, far off in the sky.
Know the peaceful flutter of angel’s wings,
Experience the undying joy of eternal springs.
Life cut short, way too soon,
Our time together now gone, under a crying moon.
Who was to know how it all would end?
Who was to know death was just around the bend?
Under the sun we have shared our lives,
And over the rainbow our hearts will still thrive.
You have been my most dear, treasured friend.
My solemnest wish was for you, God would never send.
Promise me after you’ve entered through heaven’s blessed door,
You will wait patiently for me there evermore.
Search for me until one day soon, I gladly join you
Where the clouds are purest white, and the sky is radiant blue.
